Yet more deer pics
A really big group, all moving in line:

That blurry thing in front is a deer, running *very* fast, in mid-stride. Lucky I caught it at all. Several were running by, and the camera operator was trying hard to focus on them.

Monkey Mom
Judging from the size and the closeness, this was a parent/child pair. The litle one was frequently runnng between the limbs of the larger one. The camera operator focused on these for a long time, but I didn't take many shots because the little one was often literally in the shadow of the larger.

Monkeys and Deer

When the deer get too close, the monkeys get spooked and run up the trees.

Those deer can *move* when they want to! I'd spook too, if something that fast went by me.

ETA: nice silhouette, but not worth a whole new entry.

Monkeys
There are many more monkeys in the trees than you can make out in a still pic.

Deer, batch 1
In these first few, there are lots of deer moving around in the bracken behind, but you can't really see them in still shots.

Busy day at the watering hole
For a variety of reasons, I got into work very early today. Not that I'm getting any actual *work* done yet. The watering hole is extremely distracting, and I've got at least a dozen pictures. Will post them in batches in between, y'know, trying to actually work.

First, turtles!

Thirsty Elephant
He came over for a drink after a while. Though it also seemed to involve a lot of spitting...

Double spit-take!

Not sure why the knee is bent here...

Hungry Elephant
Not actually at the water hole, just nibbling around at the foliage.
